Find your Operating System (OS) version of your RCT computer

Why do we ask for this information? The operating system version of your RCT computer is critical information we need to give you advice on your RCT problem or question. Some RCT versions may act differently on certain OS versions. Some RCT versions may be incompatible with certain OS versions.

Older versions of RCT may not run on newer OS versions without updating RCT.

Please make sure you are checking the computer on which you are actually running RCT, which may or may not be your Internet connection computer.

o Pocket PC OS (Windows Mobile) version

1. Start your Pocket PC which runs RCT.
2. Tap the "Start" menu in the upper left corner.
3. Tap "Settings".
4. Tap the "System" tab near the bottom center of the screen.
5. Tap the first item called "About".
6. The version will be on the second line, for example v3.0x, v4.20x, v4.21x, 5.0x.

o Windows version

1. Start your Windows computer which runs RCT.
2. Right click (not left click) on the "My Computer" icon.
3. Choose "Properties" in the popup menu.
4. The version we need is the "System:".

o Mac OS version

1. Start your Macintosh computer which runs RCT.
2. Click the "Apple" menu in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
3. Choose "About this Mac" (some Macs will say "About this computer").
4. The version we need is MacOS system version number.
